Privacy Policy

In short: Kuzu Help connects people in Bhutan with local skilled workers. We collect only what we need to run the app. Workers’ profiles are shown to app users so customers can contact them. CID documents are private and used only to verify workers. We never sell your data.
Who we are
Kuzu Help (“we”, “us”) is a mobile app operated by Gagen Ghalley, Thimphu, Bhutan. This policy explains how the Kuzu Help app collects, uses, shares and protects your information.

Information we collect
All users
- Account details: your name and your email address or phone number, used to log in with a one-time code.
- Location you choose: your dzongkhag and town, typed or selected by you. We do not track your GPS location.
- Profile photo, if you add one.
- Reviews and reports you write about workers.
Workers only
- Services offered, price notes, years of experience, a short description and a WhatsApp number.
- Verification documents: a photo of your Citizenship Identity Card (CID) and, optionally, training certificates.
Collected automatically
- Basic technical information needed to keep you logged in and the app working, such as login session data and error logs.
How we use your information
- To create and manage your account and log you in.
- To show approved workers to customers searching for services.
- To verify that workers are who they say they are.
- To display ratings and reviews, and to investigate reports about workers.
- To keep the app safe, prevent misuse and fix problems.
- To contact you about your account or important changes to the app.

Sharing with service providers
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the app, and only as needed:
- Supabase – stores our database, files and login system on cloud servers located in [SINGAPORE / MUMBAI].
- [EMAIL OR SMS PROVIDER NAME] – sends one-time login codes.
- Google Play – distributes the app and may collect crash and usage statistics under Google’s own privacy policy.
We may also share information if required by the laws of Bhutan, or to protect the safety of our users.
When you tap Call or WhatsApp, your phone’s dialler or the WhatsApp app opens. Anything you share there is handled by your phone provider or by WhatsApp, not by Kuzu Help.
How we protect your information
- All data travels over encrypted (HTTPS) connections.
- Database security rules ensure each user can only access the information they are allowed to see.
- CID documents are kept in private storage that is never publicly accessible.
No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will inform affected users if a serious breach occurs.
How long we keep information
- Account and profile information: until you delete your account.
- CID and certificate images: until your account is deleted, or earlier if you ask us to remove them after verification.
- Reports: up to 12 months after they are closed, to handle repeated problems.
Your choices and deleting your account
You can view and edit your profile in the app at any time.
To delete your account and data:
- In the app, open Profile → Settings → Delete account, or
- Email gagenghaley123@gmail.com from the email linked to your account (or include your registered phone number) with the subject “Delete my Kuzu Help account”.
We delete your account, profile, photos, verification documents, services and reviews within 30 days. Some limited records may be kept longer if required by law.
Children
Kuzu Help is intended for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has created an account, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app changes. We will update the effective date above and, for important changes, notify users in the app.
